Pumpkin Weigh Off
The Pumpkin weigh off, sponsored by Libby’s Pumpkin, is a competition showcasing pumpkins of all sizes! Cash and prizes will be awarded for the Giant King Pumpkin, the Queen Pumpkin, the Tiniest Pumpkin and for pumpkins in some other fun categories as well!
Winning pumpkins will be on display in the front window of the former Heartland Bank building at the corner of Main and Adams. All other pumpkins will be on display along west Jefferson Street. First Place winners will ride in the parade on Saturday morning!

Morton children compete in their own categories:
>Morton Giant King Pumpkin – heaviest pumpkin
>Morton Queen Pumpkin – exactly ½ the weight of the King Pumpkin
>Morton’s Tiniest Pumpkin – smallest pumpkin that is sound and all orange.
Categories open to anyone:
>Mature Orange Pumpkin - weighing exactly 46 lbs
>Open Class Giant Pumpkin – heaviest pumpkin
First Place winners will ride in the parade on Saturday, September 15 at 10:30 am. Winning pumpkins will be taken to Libby’s for pick up. Any pumpkin not claimed by September 21 will be discarded.
